Important information

Fitness Level:
This trek is suitable for participants with moderate fitness levels. Ensure you are in good health and have no underlying medical conditions that could be affected by altitude.

Gear Requirements:

Sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing, rain gear, and a comfortable backpack are essential.
Sleeping bags, trekking poles, and headlamps are highly recommended.
Altitude Awareness:

While the Marangu Route is relatively short, altitude sickness can still occur. Stay hydrated, trek at a slow pace, and inform your guide of any symptoms.
What’s Included:

Park entry fees, accommodation in mountain huts, meals during the trek, and services of an experienced mountain guide and porters.
What to Bring:

Personal items like snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles, and a first-aid kit.
Weather Conditions:

Temperatures can range from warm in the rainforest to very cold at higher altitudes, especially at night. Pack appropriately for varying weather conditions.
Arrival & Departure:

Arrive in Moshi/Arusha at least one day before the trek begins. Transfers to and from Marangu Gate are included.
Travel Insurance:

Ensure you have travel insurance covering trekking up to 4,000 meters.
Tipping (Optional):

Tips for guides, cooks, and porters are appreciated. Recommended amounts will be provided during the briefing.
Health Precautions:
