Important information

- Age Restrictions: Gorilla trekking is generally available for participants aged 15 years and older. Golden monkey trekking is also suitable for children aged 12 and up, but a parent or guardian must accompany minors.

- Physical Requirements: Participants should be in good physical condition as gorilla and golden monkey trekking involves hiking through hilly and sometimes rugged terrain.
 
- Weather Conditions: Rwanda has a temperate climate, but weather can be unpredictable. It’s recommended to bring waterproof clothing, sturdy hiking boots, and warm layers as temperatures can drop in the evenings.
 
- What to Bring: Long sleeves, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, and a camera (without flash) for capturing memories.

- Health & Safety:Travelers are recommended to be vaccinated for Yellow Fever (When coming from  and take malaria prevention medications. Make sure to carry necessary personal medications.

- Permits: Gorilla trekking permits are required and should be secured in advance as they are in high demand. Golden monkey trekking permits are also needed.

- Eco-friendly Practices: Please adhere to park guidelines and respect wildlife, maintaining a safe distance from the animals at all times.
