1.Passengers travelling to Dubai who have been in or transited through the below listed countries in the past 14 days are not permitted to enter Dubai:
Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo (Congo – Brazzaville), South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe
2.Passengers from Angola, Guinea or Rwanda are Permitted to transit through Dubai under the following condition:
Must present a valid negative COVID‑19 Real Time PCR test certificate with QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility within 48 hours departure. Validity must be calculated from the time the sample was collected;
3.Travel from Guinea, Rwanda and Uganda For passengers traveling on direct flights to Dubai
Must present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility within 48 hours of departure. Validity must be calculated from the time the sample was collected.
Must present a valid negative COVID‑19 Rapid or Real Time PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within 06 hours of departure.
Must undergo COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival and must remain in self quarantine until they receive the test result.
4.For passengers transiting via Guinea, Rwanda or Uganda to Dubai
Must present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility within 48 hours of departure from origin. Validity must be calculated from the time the sample was collected.
Must present a valid negative COVID‑19 Rapid or Real Time PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at the last point of departure flight to Dubai within 06 hours of departure.
Must undergo COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival and must remain in self quarantine until they receive the test result.
5.Requirements for all passengers arriving in Dubai
Passengers travelling to Dubai from all countries (GCC included) must have a negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
There are specific requirements for passengers travelling from the following countries. Please check before you travel: Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sudan, United Kingdom, Vietnam, Zambia and Turkey.
The certificate must be a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test. Other test certificates including antibody tests, NHS COVID‑19 Test certificates, COVID‑19 Rapid PCR tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai. Travellers must bring an official printed or digital certificate in English or Arabic to check in – SMS certificates are not accepted. COVID‑19 PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station.
COVID‑19 RT PCR test certificates must be issued by an authorised facility in the passenger's departure country. Certificates that have already been presented for travel to another destination can't be used for re entry even if they are still within the validity period.
6.Travel from the United Kingdom
Effective 2 January 2022, all passengers travelling from the UK to Dubai must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with QR code for a test taken no more than 48 hours before departure and the certificate must be for a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT‑PCR) test. The RT‑PCR test result certificate must state the location of where the sample was taken. Note that any other test certificates, including NHS COVID‑19 test certificates and home testing kits, are not accepted for travel from the United Kingdom.
7.Travel from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sudan, or Zambia
Requirements for passengers from these countries arriving in Dubai or using Dubai connect:
A valid negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted within 48 hours, validity should be calculated from the time the sample was collected, prior to departure from an approved health facility.
A rapid COVID 19 PCR test report with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within six hours of departure.
8.Travel from Lebanon, Turkey
All passengers traveling on Emirates from Lebanon and Turkey (inbound Dubai or in transit Dubai) must present a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility within 48 hours of departure. Validity must be calculated from the time the sample was collected.
The certificate must be a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test. Only passengers holding negative COVID‑19 RT PCR test certificates issued by trusted and certified laboratories with a QR code linked to the original report for verification purposes must be accepted for travel on the flight.
9.Travel from Angola, Indonesia, Egypt and Vietnam
For passengers arriving from the following countries, it is mandatory that the COVID‑19 RT PCR report includes a QR code linked to the original report for verification purposes.
The QR code must be presented at check in and to representatives of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) upon arrival in Dubai airports:
Angola, Indonesia, Egypt and Vietnam: the test must be conducted within 72 hours of departure

All passengers transiting through Dubai from the specified countries must present a valid negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate that is issued within 72 hours from the time the sample was collected, issued from an approved health service provider, with a QR code.
3.Transiting from The Republic of Burundi, The Republic of Cameroon, The Republic of Chad , The Republic of Zambia
All passengers transiting through Dubai from the specified countries must:
Present a valid negative COVID‑19 test certificate issued within 48 hours from the time the sample was collected and from and approved health service, which includes a QR code
Present a Rapid PCR test report that should be based on molecular diagnostic testing intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS‑COV‑2 viral RNA, conducted six 6 hours before the last point of departure, provided with a QR code
